Sulaymaniyah, 12/12/2024 – The Kscien Organization held its highly anticipated Eighth Annual Review, marking an important moment in its history. The event provided an opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the past year and outline strategic plans for the upcoming year. Key discussions revolved around the performance and future goals of Kscien’s core departments, including Activities, Finance, and Media.

A significant announcement highlighted the event: Dr. Fahmi Hussein Kakamad, founder and president of the Kscien Organization, officially announced his resignation from the presidency. In a majority vote by attendees, Mr. Shvan Hussein was elected as the new president of the organization.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Fahmi Hussein Kakamad for his invaluable contributions to Kscien and scientific research. His leadership has been a cornerstone of our growth. We also warmly welcome Mr. Shvan Hussein as our new president and are confident in his vision to drive Kscien forward,” a spokesperson for Kscien stated.

The review also brought about a restructured board of directors, with roles assigned through elections to streamline operations and foster progress. The new leadership team is as follows:

• Sarhang Sdeeq – Administrative Director of Kscien
• Kayhan Ahmad Najar – Media Director of Kscien
• Dyar A. Omar – Director of Kscien’s Erbil Branch
• Hemen Ali Hassan – Accounting Director of Kscien
• Dr. Fahmi Hussein Kakamad – Head of Activities Department of Kscien

The Board of Directors expressed their commitment to continuing Kscien’s mission of advancing scientific research and collaboration. With fresh leadership and renewed focus, the organization is poised to achieve even greater milestones in 2025.
