Predatory Journal Committee held first workshop on October 27, 2017 which was the first one in a series of workshops supposed to be held in near future for updating and discussing information regarding the new style of predatory journals and publishers.

Predatory Journal Committee composes of 23 members in different scientific fields run under supervision of the director of Kscien Organization for Scientific Research (Dr.Fahmi Hussein Kakamad). The aim of the committee is to monitor the predators and continuously updating the Kscien lists of predatory journals and publishers.

Predatory Journal Committee uses every effort and tool to collect data and evidences regarding those pseudo-scientific journals that misuse golden open access strategy for only economic purpose and deceive authors and researchers especially in Middle East and developing countries and declare their bad practice in the Kscien lists of predatory journals and publishers.
